RICOLA

BRIEF

A brief was given to us on behalf of Ricola to expand their reach in the Capital. The Swiss herbal confectionary brand wanted to demonstrate the 14 key ingredients and herbs that are used to make their products. We were asked to devise a scheme that allowed for the 14 herbs to be sourced very early in the season, displayed in containers that could be moved around for a display lasting 3 days in a heavy footfall location.

SOLUTION

We chose rustic cladding timber to produce various sizes and heights of planters to showcase the herbs. Our in-house team hand produced signage in Ricola fonts, to display the Latin and common names of the plants. We had to work with 4 separate nurseries and garden centres to source some of the herbs. Given the nature of the install and time of year, some last minute replacements had to be found where some of the seed grown herbs were simply too young for despatch.

OUTCOME

The display perfectly represented the brand and product with thousands of passers by stopping to take samples, touch and smell the herbs. The display was supplied and installed on time and on budget. De-rig took place to a tight schedule ensuring that no damage was caused to the site before transporting and donating the containers and herbs to the local community allotment at our client’s request.
